So I am doing a recap of my experience as a green blogger so far. I have to say that one thing that I have been exposed to since I have started is the enormous passion many people have for making this world a better place. I have read so many blogs, Green Ezines, and books that have showed me that I am not the only one who feels that the world needs a change. A lot of people speak and live the sustainable life and are so willing to share their experience with others. It has been an eye opener for me, and I am a better person for it.

Another is that I am so behind on things I need to do to make my life more Eco-friendly. Although I do things like recycle, buy Organic Products, and don’t buy leather and suede items (well, almost 99% of the time); it’s not enough. I have become more proactive on the choices I make on a day to day basis. However, I realized that I am more of a casual environmentalist (Time for another name change?) but writing this blog is helping me become aware of where I am falling short and what I need to improve upon.  This is a good thing. I hope that by doing this that one day I can create a home where everything is recyclable, reusable, and biodegradable. I hope one day I can install that solar panel, that all my cleaning products are not harmful to the environment, and I live the life of a true “environmentalist”.

But everything is a process and everything has its own time. Writing this blog has helped me in so many ways that I can not fathom. I know that I am a better person for it and I am thankful that I have readers to share this journey with. That I have gotten this far in such short amount of time.  I will continue to improve the Accidental Environmentalist and I hope you will share this journey with me. Thank you for taking the time to read this humble blog and taking the time to leave comments and for e-mailing me with your findings. It is such a pleasure to read you, I get my inspiration from all of you… You all have my deepest gratitude. I just want to wish everyone a happy 4th of July. It is also EC and my 8 month anniversary. Try to be healthy and Green and remember.. all in the name of Mother Earth.
