If you are looking for a modern, design-oriented but also Eco-friendly crib then look no further. This Mercer Crib is hip, stylish yet green and costs much less than the coveted Oeuf Crib.
The Mercer crib also grows with your baby since it will convert into a toddler bed with the guardrail conversion kit (included with the crib) and also into a day bed. So you can use this bed for years and years.
Available at Dax Stores, Eco-friendly Department Store
Also look into buying used cribs to keep them out of landfills. Recycling furniture is an inexpensive and affordable option. We found one on Craigslist that was barely used and cost fraction of the retail price.

Hey, Susie:
I don’t have kids, but if i were about to have one, it would be a very exciting time. Congrats again to you (and EC).
The crib above is too cute, very nice find.

Great idea! I don’t have my own baby too, but if I have one, I’d prefer to use this crib instead of buying other. Thanks for sharing!

Nice to see that lots of companies nowadays are making products that are eco-friendly. great crib, I think the baby feels comfortable using it.

Adorable crib! Any baby would be lucky to have this one!
It’s also great that they make cribs now that can convert as a child grows.

That’s really cute. I think $500 is too much for a crib, it’s a lot nicer than most I’ve seen out there.
I’m not sure if this counts, but Ikea has some really good, cheap ones, just not sure if that counts as eco-friendly products.

That is a lovely crib. I have some relatives about to become first-time parents and I think they might appreciate something like this for their child. Who knows, perhaps the child will look back upon this knowing their first crib was eco-friendly and become a strong environmental activist! And congrats on the Jolly Green Baby!
