I am really loving this poster from the Sierra Club. This is what they had to say
We want to convince folks that moving to a Clean Energy Economy is doable, and in fact, we’ve done it before. In World War II, we came together as a nation and retooled on a dime to do what was needed to win the war. Time Magazine actually just picked up on this with their latest cover on Climate Change - that the challenges we face today are similar to the challenges we faced during WWII.
And I just want to say “Happy Earth Day” may every day be a happy one to the planet and ourselves.

The Time Magazine cover on global warming is pretty indicative of the other kind of ongoing war that we’re constantly facing. It’s naive to think the war can be completely won, but winning battles such as sustainable energy or even planting more trees will go a long way to keep the tide in our favor. Happy Earth Day!

Great poster and message. Absolutely correct, this country has come together before to get it done on a moments notice. Is it realistic to think it could happen again in this day and age? In my opinion, mainstream core values are nowhere near as noble as they were around the WWII era. Maybe I’m wrong, I hope so.

Thanks for the info….I am trying to put together a list of what celebs are doing to help the environment. Ed Begley Jr. is having a sweepstakes where he flys you to Hollywood and gives you tips on how to go green ( http://www.earthlab.com/life/livingwithed/ ) Pretty crazy stuff. Obviously there are many others. Drop me a link if you have any on the top of your head. Thanks again for the info!
