This affordable yet Eco-friendly little gem is probably my best find of the week. It’s non-toxic and biodegradable but strong enough to clean baby’s organic cotton diapers. Charlies’s Soap is the green and natural laundry detergent alternative that works great on
- Grease
- Blood
- Mildew Stains
- Pine Sap
- Grass
- Red Clay
- Mustard
- Poop
Yet gentle enough to wash your baby’s clothes. Charlie’s Soap smells clean and fresh. With no added fragrance, Charlie says, if you want flowers. Go smell them. The 3lb laundry bag can do 80 loads. That’s only pennies per load! They also have liquid detergent and all purpose cleaner.

This is a brilliant idea. I have heard of eco-friendly washing powder before on TV, but cannot remember the name. How much does this product cost by the way?
Thanks

Kristina,
I am not sure how much it would be in the U.K. but it was $13.99 USD. But getting 80 loads of laundry from one bag. It’s a total steal!!! Hope this helps.

Really it is good for grass too? I haven´t find a detergent which would get out the grass from clothes. If I see this detergent I will try it.

Susan,
I don’t think you can find the Charlie’s Soap in your regular grocery store. Perhaps in an Organic market or whole foods. I ordered mine online but I do believe that they have a retail store locator.
Many cloth diaper companies rave about this soap for getting baby poop out and I am sure if it can get that out.. grass would be no problem.

This is really cool! First time I heard about non toxic laundry detergent! In my place, it’s still a village, so no expose a lot about organic stuff.
