Today I have some very exciting news. My article on Plastic bags was approved for Associated Content and I am now a content producer. I also got paid $7. So far, as a professional blogger. I made $7.68. (but I don’t think I will be seeing the $.68 since it’s from Google AdSense. Unfortunately, that meant I also had to take down my blog about plastic bags since AC has exclusive rights to that. I promise to not take any more contents off my site; however, if you want to read the article. It will be available on my AC page. I should also mention that one of my blog: Eco Friendly Fashion: finding alternatives to leather, suede and fur was featured in Ezine Articles. I feel tremendously honored that so far I have been getting good reviews about my site and my writing.

Today, I am going to offer some tips I actually use on a daily basis.

My laundry gets washed in cold wash only. They come out just as clean and you save loads on your electricity bill but not only that; you are conserving Energy. I can give you the statistics but today I just feel like “blogging”
At night, I go around the house and unplug any electrical outlet as much as I can. Yes, it can be a pain; but I feel much better knowing at least I did something to help the Environment… and again it saves loads on Energy. Most of the Electricity is wasted on plugged but unused electrical outlet. I wouldn’t recommend you unplug the Fridge, Per Se but anything else is OK.
I have a bin in the kitchen just for the recyclables. Just toss them in the bin. They don’t have to be uber clean; just along as they are not moldy. You can conserve water that way. Later on in the week. I will do an article on Recycling 101. Even I get confused sometime on what’s good to recycle and what’s not.
This might disgust some of you; but when I do the #1, I don’t flush the first time. I wait until my second round, and then it goes down the toilet. #2 is another matter. Supposedly now there is a toilet that has two buttons for each functions; I think that’s a brilliant idea (maybe another blog idea?)
