Method Cleaners

It’s easy to find cruelty free (meaning no Animals has been used for testing) beauty products. Just go to a health food store or a mega mart like Whole Foods and Wild Oats. You will find aisles of organic, cruelty free shampoos, lotion, face cream.. ect.. for your shopping pleasure. But what about household items such as laundry detergent, dish soap, and such? There’s a great company called Method that provides all these products and more. But the best thing is that they are affordable, convenient (you can find it at Target) and pretty hip to boot. You don’t have to look like some crunchy granola eating environmentalist. (Not that I have anything against Granolas)

Here are some facts about Method Products

  • Biodegradable: the environment doesn’t need any more toxics released into our atmosphere and Method solves that problem by using natural ingredients like Soy, Coconut and even Grapefruit. I have the All Purpose Cleaner and it smells so natural and delicious!!! and cleans fantastically.
  • No Animal Testing: I admit it’s hard to give up Tide as my laundry detergent but Method is making is easier because I know no animals have been harmed so I can have clean knickers. They are part of the Leaping Bunny Organization. The standard for Cruelty Free living
  • Recyclable Package:the packages are so hip that they can be an art work. You would never know that it was made to be environmentally conscious. And the best part? It’s recyclable..
  • Method was featured on Oprah, in Vanity Fair’s Green Issue, Inc and the company cofounders were named PETA’s “Persons of the Year”

The best part? Method is widely available. You don’t have to go to Whole Foods or some Organic market to get it. Some of the retailers like Lowes and Target carry them. Or you can order them online on Amazon.
